Conductor material:

Copper: Copper is a commonly used conductor material with good electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity. For High Current Connector Pins, high purity copper materials, such as oxygen-free copper, are usually used to ensure low resistance and good heat dissipation performance.

Aluminum: The electrical conductivity of aluminum is slightly lower than that of copper, but the density is smaller and the price is relatively low. In some applications with high weight requirements, aluminum can also be used as a conductor material for high current pins.

Silver: Silver has excellent electrical conductivity, but the price is higher. In some occasions with extremely high performance requirements, such as high-end electronic equipment or special power transmission systems, silver may be used as a conductor material for High Current Connector Pins.

Plating material:

Tin plating: Tin plating can improve the corrosion resistance and solderability of the pin, and also help to reduce contact resistance. In some high current applications, the tin plating layer can protect the conductor and improve the contact performance.

Silver plating: Silver plating has good electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance, especially suitable for high frequency and high current applications. The silver plating layer can reduce the loss in signal transmission and improve the reliability of the connection.

Gold plating: Gold plating has excellent corrosion resistance and wear resistance, while also providing low contact resistance. In some high-reliability, high-current applications, gold-plated pins can ensure long-term stable connections.
